Boxwood Coffee: Jasmine Passion Iced Tea At Home!

Boxwood Coffee is known as Westfield and Summit's perfect community coffee shop, offering the perfect working atmosphere, alongside amazing coffee and our personal favorite, teas.

Boxwood is the place to get things done, nothing says productivity like a cup of coffee, a macaron, and a laptop!

Recently, however, we haven't been able to enjoy the full Boxwood experience! We are counting down the days until we can sit with our friends again and enjoy the atmosphere. Luckily Boxwood has been open for curbside pick-up, delivery, and you can buy bags of their coffee and teas!

We miss the amazing drinks, and now that it's summer - we have been craving our favorite Jasmine Passion Green Iced Tea. Lucky for us, we stashed up on the loose leaf tea before quarantine and after much experimenting, we've found the perfect way to brew it!

  • 1. We started by steeping the tea in hot water for two to three minutes, in a small bowl.

  • 2. After it became the perfect golden color, we moved the bowl into an ice bath and allowed it to sit for 15-20 minutes, or until it reached room temperature.

  • 3. During this time, we had also added agave nectar, which we found had sweetened it without overpowering the flavor the way honey tends to.

  • 4. Then, we cut up an orange (just putting the slices of orange in the glass made it a hundred times better).

  • 5. After that, we simply poured it over ice and drank up!
