Summit Parks

  • Briant Park and Pond - 42 Briant Parkway.  Public.  One mile scenic meandering paved walking/fitness trail.  Parkland with benches and gazebo overlooking pond, open space grass field. Lovely picnic areas.  Sledding in Winter.

  • Glenside Fields - 189 Glenside Avenue.  Public. Two lighted synthetic turf multi-sport fields.

  • Jefferson Field - 100 Ashwood Avenue.  Public, adjacent to Jefferson Elementary School and Primary Center.  Lighted baseball field and playground.

  • Lincoln Fields - 52 Woodland Avenue.  Public, adjacent to Lincoln-Hubbard Elementary School.  Baseball/softball, soccer field and playground.

  • Mabie Playground - 30 Summit Avenue.  Public.  Parkland with benches.  Two playgrounds and two basketball courts.  Adjacent to Summit Green.

  • Martin’s Brook Park - 90 Butler Parkway.  Public.  Walking trails through scenic wooded park.  Adjacent to The Carter House.

  • Passaic River Park - 10 New Providence Avenue.  Public.  Hiking/walking trails through scenic wooded park.  Picnic areas.

  • Reeves-Reed Arboretum - 165 Hobart Avenue.  Membership required.  Event space.  Walking/hiking trails.  Many events are open to the public for a fee such as their annual Daffodil Day, Art Exhibits, Concert Series.  Summer camps for children.

  • Soldiers Memorial Field - 5 Myrtle Avenue.  Public, adjacent to Brayton School.  Baseball and softball fields, soccer field, 1/4 mile cinder track, tennis courts, basketball courts, handball wall, playground, picnic area/benches.

  • Tatlock Park & Investors Field.  70 Butler Parkway.  Public, adjacent to Washington Elementary School.  Public.  Home of the Summit Hilltoppers.  Two synthetic turf multi-sport fields, six lighted tennis courts, Basketball court, paved track, playground and open space grass fields.

  • Village Green - Maple and Broad Streets.  Open green space.  Host to Summer concerts and movies, and annual tree lighting in December.

  • Wilson Park - 14 Beekman Terrace.  Public, adjacent to Wilson Primary Center.  Baseball and soccer fields, playground, two lighted paddle tennis courts, open green space with picnic area.
